    INCENTIVE: SIGN ON BONUS $5000

    FULL-TIME DAY SHIFT

    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the designated site leader, you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the work of ultrasound technicians to enhance quality and efficiency. You will also serve as a valuable resource for the ultrasound department, ensuring that departmental policies and imaging standards are met.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support daily operations, including scheduling work for ultrasound technicians and ensuring smooth patient flow.
    • Ensure the team maintains high-quality images for accurate radiology interpretation.
    • Monitor equipment functionality and take corrective actions when needed.
    • Contribute to achieving site and system goals.
    • Demonstrate leadership and conflict resolution skills by effectively problem-solving.
    • Facilitate communication within and across departments.
    • Efficiently use hospital computer systems for various tasks.
    • Assist in training new staff, conducting annual competencies, and participating in the interview process.
    • Perform ultrasound duties to support patient flow.
    • Contribute to obtaining quality images for accreditation processes.
    • Assume higher-level responsibilities in the absence of supervisors.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education / Training:

    • Completion of a Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent qualification.

    Work Experience:

    • Preferred 3-5 years of clinical experience as an ultrasound technician.

    Certification, Licensure, Registration:

    • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
    • Must hold at least one registration (ABD or OB/GYN) at the time of hire.
    • Additional registration within one year of hire.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at the time of hire.
