**Description**

The Janitor (also known as Housekeeper, Environmental Services Aide, EVS Aide, Custodian) is responsible for the general cleaning and related sanitation functions for all Administrative buildings in Penn-Mar Human Services and other location as deemed appropriate. The Janitor is responsible for all general cleaning functions to ensure a safe, sanitary and professional environment for both the staff and individuals we support.

This job is inclusive of, but not excluded to the following duties:

General cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming of all common areas.

Collection and disposal of all trash and refuse.

Cleaning and vacuuming of all administrative and programmatic areas.

Disinfecting, sweeping and mopping all lavatory areas.

Cleaning all coffee stations, break rooms and training spaces including microwaves, tables, sink counters and refrigerators.

Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma/ G.E.D.

3-5 years of housekeeping or janitor experience required.

Acceptable criminal background.

Valid Driver's License with 2 yrs. of consecutive driving experience.

Ability to pass pre-employment Drug Screen/ Physical/ Mantoux Test (PPD, TB).
