    Job Description

    The Successful License Plate Specialist will work independently to accomplish tasks and as part of a team to provide input and problem solving to complete tasks. This position is responsible for reviewing images of license plates previously rejected by the double-blind process, making corrections to transactions based on photographic evidence to assign the correct license plate information, viewing confidential registered vehicle owner information and assigning to a toll account.

    This role requires a high level of attention to detail and memory recall uniquely identifying characteristics of vehicles and/or license plates. The ideal candidate will have problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to quickly identify problems or issues and recommend solutions, and effective professional communication both orally and written.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review images of license plates previously rejected by the double-blind process.
    • Make corrections to transactions based on photographic evidence to assign the correct license plate information.
    • View confidential registered vehicle owner information and assign to a toll account.
    • Perform quality control checks against previously viewed and processed violation or image-based toll accounts.
    • Serve as the KTA SME and work closely with supervisor to provide evidence of fact regarding toll charges based on license plate images and/or vehicle make/model.
    • Ability to quickly recognize fraudulent license plates, articulate facts regarding travel patterns and communicate with appropriate KTA or law enforcement entities.
    • Ability to accurately investigate license plates and vehicle makes/models using approved software/image databases to correctly identify new license plate and vehicle designs from the U.S. and other countries.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must be able to demonstrate and prove a high level of attention to detail and memory recall uniquely identifying characteristics of vehicles and/or license plates.

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to sit (or stand) for long periods of time (continuous).
    • Occasional bending, twisting or turning within work area.
    • Must be able to see up close to be able to visualize computer screen (continuous).
    • Must be able to differentiate colors and shapes within images (continuous).

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
