    We are urgently hiring a Paralegal for a Creditors' Rights/Bankruptcy boutique law firm. T

    Sample Responsibilities of the Creditors' Rights/Bankruptcy Paralegal

    • Understand replevin process and key milestones to a replevin legal action with focus on personal property
    • Prepare replevin legal documents for attorneys to review and execute
    • Review, organize, and summarize case materials.
    • Conduct legal research and investigations as needed and directed.
    • Responsible for docketing, calendaring, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents in State and Federal Court.
    • Monitoring bankruptcy dockets and email notifications

    Minimum and Additional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
    • Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
    • 2+ years of Creditor Rights' or Bankruptcy Paralegal experience in a law firm
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, and other legal software
    • Proficiency in CM/ECF Filing
    • Working knowledge of State and Federal court systems and the ability to understand and follow Local, State and Federal Rules of court
    • Detail oriented
