    Psychiatrist Medical Director Opening Part Time Inpatient Remote Located in Nevada, MO.

    Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for the adult psychiatric unit at a respected medical center in Nevada, MO.

    This is a very part-time, telehealth role-approximately 1 hour per week-focused primarily on providing clinical oversight and collaborative supervision for the psychiatric nurse practitioner (NP) on staff.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide clinical oversight and supervision to the onsite psychiatric NP in accordance with Missouri regulatory requirementsCollaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective, and compliant psychiatric careServe as a clinical resource and support for complex case discussions and treatment planningReview and sign collaborative practice agreements and supervise as needed per scope of practiceEnsure adherence to best practices and standards of care in adult psychiatric treatmentInpatient/outpatient psychiatric services within a medical centerAll adult patientsApproximately 1 hour per week, remoteNevada,

    Missouri Qualifications:
    MD or DO with Board Certification in PsychiatryActive, unrestricted Missouri medical licenseExperience supervising or collaborating with advanced practice providers preferredStrong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
