- This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that align with our business objectives and industry standards.
- This role provides subject matter expertise and oversight in multiple areas of cybersecurity, including cloud security, endpoint security, email security, incident response, identity and access management (IAM) and infrastructure security.
- Design and improve security controls protecting information systems, enterprise applications, and data.
- Responsible for designing and improving security controls, logging, SIEM, SOAR, IAM, firewalls, email security, and cloud security.
- Works closely with the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Manager to write and implement policies and controls across the organization.
- Assist in security awareness training.
- Assists in all aspects of security incident response, including analyzing, researching, and remediation.
- Assists in the execution of security incident management, including security incident investigations, forensic analysis and technical response to findings.
- Manage and configure firewalls for all offices and remote locations.
- Assist in developing policies, procedures, and standards for the organization.
- Act as the subject matter expert in building, consulting, and validating system security designs.
- Perform project lead tasks on select security projects including development of requirements, evaluation of competing products, selection and implementation of products.
- Assist in developing responses to internal & external audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
- This role will require working with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate specializes in architecting, planning, deploying, and maintaining secure systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus eight years of relevant experience.
- High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exude the appropriate level of judgment and maturity, have a high degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
- Current CISSP, CISM, or similar industry certification.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, frameworks, and standards.
- Strong proven troubleshooting and analytical abilities in a large-scale operational environment.
- Strong partnership and business acumen as it relates to communicating and understanding security risk.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are required.
- Capable of analyzing data, recognizing problems, and drawing logical conclusions.
- Must have a passion for improving processes through technology.
- Automation/Scripting experience is a plus.
