    About the Position

    LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice MD in California


    We are seeking a board-certified Family Practice Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Jan 5, 2026.

    This role offers a consistent schedule of 4 days per week, 8am to 5pm, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a clinic setting.

    Responsibilities and Duties
    Provide basic family medicine coverage for patients of all ages
    Conduct sick and wellness visits, including evaluation and management of cold, cough, and flu symptoms
    Deliver chronic care management and preventive health services
    Document clinical encounters in accordance with clinic protocols

    Additional Information
    Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
    Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    Active California medical license required
    Experience with tribal populations preferred
    Must be able to see patients across the lifespan
