    Office and Lab Support Technician

    Required Experience

    • 2-5 years of experience in a technical lab and office administration environment
    • Experience purchasing, receiving, stocking, and shipping electronic equipment
    • Ability to balance busy development lab and office administration tasks
    • Support Executive staff and Engineering team meetings and customer visits
    • Ability to utilize laptops and computer technology for communication
    • Ability to work independently in the office to prepare for anticipated field work
    • Technical and mechanical knowledge and abilities is preferred
    • Ability to work independently and anticipate staff needs
    • Ability to work collaboratively or independently as required by a given situation
    • Familiarity with high tech systems and industrial field equipment

    Preferred Experience

    • Microsoft Dynamics ERP system
    • Railroad or transportation industry knowledge
    • Experience with computer networking systems
    • Ability to monitor mobile communication systems
    • Experience with coax and cabling
    • Comfortable working LAN/WAN and networking equipment

    Job Responsibilities

    • Support office staff and manage office, inventory and hardware logistics
    • Utility office technician to work on computer and networking systems
    • Comfortable working LAN, including routers, switches, and other networking devices
    • Troubleshoot and repair control systems, power supplies, radio/cellular equipment
    • Maintain and submit accurate paperwork and documentation
    • Packing, shipping and maintaining lab equipment and office systems
