    Job Summary

    A Physical Therapist works under the supervision of a Clinical Manager to provide individualized patient care for patients in all developmental stages, from adolescents to geriatrics. This includes assessing, interpreting, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients with appropriate skills given their age and diagnosis. The therapist also participates in program development, student programs, and performance improvement initiatives.

    Primary Job Duties:

    • Assess and evaluate patients to develop effective treatment plans.
    • Communicate and document patient information according to agency policies and procedures.
    • Contribute to program effectiveness by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
    • Organize and prioritize work effectively to enhance agency performance.
    • Maintain a daily commitment to the agency's values and mission.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
    • Licensure in the state where providing therapy (NC/SC) and CPR certification.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience.
    • Ability to lift and transfer patients safely, as well as manipulate equipment and modalities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Valid North Carolina driver's license and operational vehicle required.

    Work Environment:

    • 40-hour work weeks with variable schedules, including weekends and holidays.
    • Exposure to noise, congestion, communicable diseases, and other hazards.
