    Job Description for Nurse Practitioner

    We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Ventura Community Based Outpatient Clinic.

    About Us

    Ansible Government Solutions is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing Federal customers with solutions in healthcare, national security, and information technology.

    Responsibilities

    • Executes position responsibilities independently and collaboratively in accordance with nursing standards and best practices.
    • Works closely with medical staff to provide high-quality patient care.
    • Identifies and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues while administering quality patient care.
    • Demonstrates advanced assessment and decision-making skills.
    • Maintains accurate and confidential medical records.

    Qualifications

    • A current license in at least one state in the U.S. or the District of Columbia.
    • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
    • A minimum of one year direct patient care experience within the last three years.
    • Be current on tuberculosis testing, rubella testing, and all immunizations prior to performing services.
    • No sponsorship available.

    Physical Requirements

    • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
    • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
    • Lift up to 20 lbs.
    • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
    • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
