- Assist the government staff in developing engineering Quotations for system changes.
- Assist the government staff in the operations of standalone systems deployed in support of DEA operations.
- Assist in the transfer of data from standalone systems to DEA storage for analysis.
- Assist government staff in the monitoring and the overall direction of the development of systems to transfer information between disparate automated information systems.
- Telecommunications and network troubleshooting.
- Analyze and support off-site computer operations.
- Coordinate with the users of production applications to identify issues for resolution.
- Perform data recovery using off-line resources.
- Monitor system resources.
- Provide first-line support for operational problems for standalone systems.
- Provides instruction in the use of standard software packages and specialized applications.
- Gather information from users.
- Define work problems.
- Develop procedures to resolve problems.
- Develop complete specifications to enable computer programmers to prepare required.
- College graduate or equivalent work experience, or completion of military, law enforcement, or equivalent technical school is required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience, or equivalent ten (10) years on-the-job experience is required.
