    As the Central Texas Aviation Lead, you will serve as our leader in this critical local market. This includes:

    * Work cooperatively with other Area and National leaders and marketing staff on local marketing and production efforts and in developing and implementing a strategic plan for delivery and growth.

    * Partner with Area Market Sector Lead and Airfield Design Business Class Lead to determine skills that are needed on the team.

    * Assist in the selection, training, development, and management of technical personnel.

    * Serve as a key partner to Senior Project Managers and Senior Engineers.

    * Provide Client Management to select clients.

    * Support Transportation and Aviation Market Sectors in identifying and recruiting key hires.

    * Support our overall Airfield Design Business Class and Practice Groups in development and implementation of best practices

    * Perform other duties as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

    * Professional Engineer (PE) license in TX

    * Experience working with Austin Bergstrom and/or San Antonio International Airports

    * Experience coordinating with the FAA Southwest Regional Office personnel.

    * Previous work experience on airfield designs requiring Part 139 operating certifications.

    * Understands project scheduling and critical path method

    * Experience with design proposal development

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • A minimum of 10 years experience
    • Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
    • Strong communication and listening skills
    • Ability to handle multiple assignments
    • Good leadership and organizational skills
    • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
