    Established and growing real estate investment/property management company located in downtown San Francisco is looking for a Property Accountant. Report to the Controller supporting month end close and operations.

    responsibilities:
    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate interdepartmental workflow with property management and accounting teams
    • Manage electronic filing of property related accounting documentation
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Monitor all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections, revenue, expense, proper account coding for revenue and expenses, balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation.
    • Post necessary non- recurring charges to tenant ledgers as requested by property management from time to time
    • Pursue resolution of business issues impacting the financial statements in a proactive, independent manner
    • Prepare journal entries including appropriate documentation
    • Participate in Month End close activities
    • Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages by required deadlines
    • Review and monitor cash flow forecasts for multiple bank accounts and projects as needed
    • Review outstanding Accounts Receivable balances for accuracy
    • Ensure compliance with the capitalization policies for fixed assets.
    • Adhere to company internal accounting policies.

    • BS degree
    • 4+ years working in a professional business environment specifically real estate
    • Ability to show skills in being proactive, goal-oriented, results driven and self-motivated.
    • Exceptional organizational and written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; must meet deadlines and perform job functions within outlined expectations
    • Impeccable personal integrity and ability to protect confidential financial information
    • Comfort and competence managing multiple assignments and deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
