    HealthTexas Primary Care Doctors was established by local physicians who recognized the need for primary care doctors to combine their passion, skills and resources to improve the health of the patients within the local community.

    For over twenty-eight years, HealthTexas Primary Care Doctors has been providing primary care to families in San Antonio, Boerne, New Braunfels and Schertz.

    HealthTexas has grown to include more than 60 healthcare providers in 18 primary care clinics.

    Our Physicians are able to better serve their patients through smaller panel sizes, few patient visits per day, and a focus on outpatient medicine.

    HealthTexas physicians typically see 16-20 patients a day.

    We encourage well visits, proactive outreach to our most fragile and at-risk patients, same-day urgent appointments and traditional care management.

    We provide the time needed to focus directly on providing comprehensive care to our Medicare Advantage HMO senior population.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Provide the full scope of primary care services which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to patients.

    They must be cognizant of, and comply with, all Organizational policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations.

    Demonstrated expertise in treating and managing Medicare Advantage populations with multiple comorbidities
    Must have specific managed care experience
    Virtual medical treatment
    Management of high-risk population in complex care program
    Full-time position
