Job summary
The Department of Political Science at Jackson State University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position starting in August 2026.We seek an active researcher with experience in grant writing and extramural funding who can contribute to curriculum development, teach quantitative research methods, statistics, and our senior capstone course.
The successful candidate will have earned a PhD in Political Science before the start date and must have strong interpersonal skills and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
