- Manage timelines and deadlines for assigned patients, including obtaining consents, medical liens, or letters of protection, and ensuring access to medical records
- Effectively handle a caseload of cases, providing patient case management services with a focus on medical treatment compliance
- Take ownership of patient files, communicate with referring accounts, and address patient care issues proactively
- Acquire, review, and distribute medical and billing records during the treatment process
- Maintain accurate case management data in the system and update cases daily
- Coordinate patient transportation as needed and handle all inbound communications appropriately
- Bi-Lingual proficiency is highly desired
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking skills
- 2+ years of experience in roles such as insurance adjuster, legal assistant, paralegal, or case manager
- Experience with Salesforce is a bonus
- Positive attitude and a genuine commitment to assisting others
- Professional demeanor and behavior
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Team player with excellent organizational and punctuality skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick learning abilities for new programs
- Written and verbal fluency in both Spanish and English is a must
