Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting
A growing client of ours is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This person will be responsible for overseeing, recording, and processing various accounting operations within the Finance department. This will be a dynamic role that will include a Financial Reporting aspect as well.


What you'll do:
Prepare account reconciliations
Prepare Corporate expense allocations for the various divisions
Prepare monthly operating expense reports for division heads and investigate variances
Assist Corporate Accounting Manager with the monthly financial statements
Assist Corporate Accounting Manager with the monthly and annual Corporate Financial Close
Assist with preparation of credit facility related reports
Assist with preparation of support schedules for annual financial audits
Other general accounting tasks

Outline of Specific Functions:
Perform reconciliations on various balance sheet accounts and research variances
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Responsible for review of operating expenses and monthly reports
Responsible for posting monthly accruals

What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Public Accounting strongly preferred
CPA or Master's Degree preferred
Strong GAAP and accounting knowledge
Excellent computer skills including using Excel to review and modify datasets
NetSuite experience a plus
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to interact and coordinate activities with multiple people and departments over multiple time zones and locations
