    Job Description

    Boeing is looking for a Payload Mechanical Design Engineer (Associate, Mid-level, Lead) to join their team in El Segundo, CA.

    The Payload Mechanical Engineering group is seeking an experienced Payload Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in CAD design processes, RF transmission line design, and product development.

    In this role, you will contribute to the development, integration, and documentation of structural and interior payload system requirements. You will utilize 3-D Computer-Aided Design tools for designing basic structural and interior payload system components, ensuring product definition for various engineering groups. Additionally, you will be involved in supplier development, test, production activities, and anomaly resolution under general supervision.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Mechanical Design using CAD application
    • RF Waveguide and cable routing using CAD application
    • Detail documentation for payload mechanical engineering
    • Support of manufacturing activities for payload engineering

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
    • 1+ years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a production environment
    • 1+ years' experience working with RF Communication systems
    • 1+ years' experience with 3D solid modeling software applications

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

    • 5+ years' related work experience or equivalent education
    • 9+ years' related work experience or equivalent education
    • Experience with CREO Parametric CAD application

    Relocation:

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Summary pay range:

    Associate: $80,750 - $109,250

    Experienced: $96,050 – $129,950

    Lead: $120,700 – $163,300
