    Summary:

    LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of a Logistics Coordinator who will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods and materials within our client's growing organization. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate various aspects of logistics, including transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment. To be considered for this role, candidates need to have manufacturing experience and a deep understanding of logistics operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Order Fulfillment: Receive and process incoming orders from various sources, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
    2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and initiate replenishment orders when necessary to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
    3. Transportation Coordination: Arrange and schedule transportation for the delivery of goods to customers, suppliers, and other destinations. This includes selecting appropriate carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring on-time delivery.
    4. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external partners, and customers regarding logistics-related inquiries and issues. Communicate shipment statuses and provide tracking information when required.
    5. Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipment documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
    6. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve logistical challenges, such as shipping delays, transportation issues, and inventory discrepancies, in a timely and efficient manner.
    7. Cost Management: Monitor logistics costs and seek opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality and reliability.
    8. Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of products throughout the logistics process.
    9. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure all logistics operations are conducted in compliance with relevant laws and standards.
    10. Reporting: Generate reports and analytics related to logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and presenting data to management.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field (1-2 years)
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
    • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP).
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
    • A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).

    Details:

    • Employment type: Direct Hire
    • Compensation: up to $48,000
    • Work hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
    • Work location: On-site

    Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $48,000.00 per year
