    Overview:

    We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to join our team in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. As the sole HR representative, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the human resource function, aligning our HR policies with company goals, and fostering a positive work environment.

    Responsibilities include:

    HR Leadership:

    • Collaborate with the CFO and management to develop and implement HR policies in line with company objectives.
    • Provide advice on HR best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory matters.

    Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

    • Lead all aspects of the recruitment process, from job descriptions to onboarding.
    • Develop effective recruitment strategies and branding for internal and external recruitment.
    • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure successful integration for new hires.

    Employee Relations and Engagement:

    • Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
    • Plan and execute company events to promote employee relations and engagement.
    • Address employee issues and implement solutions as needed.

    Policy Development and Compliance:

    • Update and implement HR policies to comply with legal requirements.
    • Conduct audits to ensure policy adherence.

    Benefits Administration:

    • Oversee employee benefit programs, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
    • Manage relationships with benefit providers and facilitate open enrollment.

    Performance Management:

    • Lead the performance process, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback.
    • Collaborate with managers to address performance issues and implement improvement plans.
    • Manage the offboarding process for departing employees.

    Training and Development:

    • Source training resources to address internal needs.
    • Develop and deliver training materials as required.

    HRIS:

    • Manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
    • Utilize HR analytics for informed decision-making.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree and HR certification preferred.
    2. 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including managerial responsibilities.
    3. 3+ years of recruitment experience, construction industry experience preferred.
    4. Thorough knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
    5. Strong management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    6. Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies aligned with company goals.
    7. Discretion and ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism.
    8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software. Experience with CMIS and Predictive Index a plus.
    9. Willingness to attend company events outside of regular business hours.
