    Senior International Tax Associates (Worksite:
    Doeren Mayhew Texas, PLLC 2600 North Loop West, Suite 600, Houston, TX 77092): Will work as part of a tax team contributing on tax compliance and consulting projects. Prepares and reviews tax compliance services for partnerships, corporations, S corporations, trusts and individual clients.

    Demonstrates strong technical knowledge and is responsible for coaching, advising, and directing less experienced team members in meeting client and self-development expectations.

    Senior International Tax Associates are expected to exercise independent judgment and discretion based on their knowledge of accounting rules and regulations.

    The Senior International Tax Associate professional role will perform the following complex accounting and taxation related duties:

    Lead preparation of complex tax returns (individual, C-Corp, S-Corp, partnerships, trust, estate, etc.); Lead preparation of various international tax forms (3520, 5471, 5472, 114a, 1116) for reporting of foreign income on US tax returns; Identify and analyze tax issues and come to conclusions; Prepare quarterly and year-end estimates to assist clients with tax planning; Perform diversified tax assignments under the direction of a supervisor, manager or partner; Build strong client relationship and ensure client needs are being met; Possess technical knowledge sufficient to assist staff associates and interns; Review the work of less experienced associates and provide guidance/mentorship to assist them in developing technical skills; Participate in firm training courses to further develop technical skills.

    The salary for this role is $81,869 to $95,000. Doeren Mayhew is making a good-faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges.

    The salary offer is commensurate with Doeren Mayhews compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.


    Minimum Requirements:
    A Masters degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in accounting, business administration, or a closely related field of study


    Special Requirements:
    This role requires a CPA license.
