    Responsibilities:
    Design and Release of Thermal Protection for High Voltage EV Battery Modules and Battery Pack.

    Conceptualize and Develop New Concepts for Large Volume Li-ion Battery Pack, Enclosures, Brick Modules, and Core Assembly Architecture.

    Perform Mechanical Simulations for Structural and Dynamic Analysis of Battery Packs, including DFMEA.

    Design Unique Blocks for Li-ion Cell Storage, Considering Thermal Runaway Propagation.

    Create Electrical Routing in Solidworks for Sense Wires and Internal Connections of Battery.

    Generate CAD Models of Battery Pack in Solidworks and Prepare 2D Drawings of Battery Assemblies.

    Conduct Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis of Assemblies.

    Evaluate Suppliers, Conduct Technical Reviews, and Source Suppliers.

    Prepare and Manage Li-ion Cell Design Packages, Collaborate with Other Departments, and Troubleshoot Issues in Electrode Stacks.


    Provide Support on Mechanical Aspects of Production Equipment and Act as Subject Matter Expert on Cell Design and Fixture Design.


    Design Electrodes, Separators, Cell Stack, Terminals, Foil Tabs, Coating Equipment Parts, and Other Li-ion Cell Components in Different Form Factors using Solidworks.

    Design Fixtures for Mechanical Testing.


    Operate 3D Printer and Perform Hardware Troubleshooting, including Offset Settings, Nozzle Head Change, Cleaning, Probe Settings, Warping, and Servomotor Adjustment.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

    Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Solidworks.

    Experience in thermal protection design for high voltage EV battery systems.

    Strong background in structural and dynamic analysis, including DFMEA.

    Familiarity with Li-ion cell design and manufacturing processes.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Hands-on experience with 3D printing and hardware troubleshooting preferred.
