    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop a robust growth strategy for your region by creating a comprehensive plan that gains alignment with critical stakeholders in our commercial organization.
    • Drive team performance to increase door counts, enhance distribution, execute effective pricing strategies, excel in merchandising, and promote our products while proactively addressing youth usage.
    • Continuously evaluate and enhance market strategies to ensure ongoing improvements.
    • Collaborate with the Government Affairs team on regulatory initiatives.
    • Lead, train, and nurture a high-performing team of Division Managers and Zone Managers who oversee a large group of Territory Managers focused on in-store execution and merchandising.
    • Provide valuable feedback to HQ regarding best-in-class practices and share key insights and sales performance metrics.
    • Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, a state within the responsibility region.
    • Be willing to travel roughly 50% or more of the time.
    • Carry out other related duties as necessary within your scope of practice.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a sales team leader at the Director level or above.
    • Experience engaging with retail chain HQ decision-makers in the Tobacco or Tobacco alternative sectors.
    • Strong background in managing or leading distributions in the Tobacco or Tobacco alternative product markets.
    • Experience working directly with executives in Convenience Retail or Convenience Distribution.
    • 7-10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, particularly in highly regulated consumer product industries.
    • Demonstrated capability in leading sales teams effectively.
    • Exceptional sales leadership, results-driven mindset, exemplary people management, and strategic leadership skills.
    • Self-motivated with a strong desire to own projects from inception to completion and thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
    • Ability to influence various functions and levels within the organization, fostering collaboration while driving results.
    • Analytical mindset with the capacity to evaluate actions based on KPIs.
    • Strong persuasive abilities and a talent for executing business development opportunities.
    • Inquisitive, always seeking improvement opportunities, and taking initiative to implement them.
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Tableau, along with excellent digital communication skills.

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.

    Salary Range: $201,000 - $325,000 USD
