    A minimum of 2 years' experience in the cement industry.
    A minimum of 2 years' management and/or supervisor experience.
    One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
    Strong working knowledge of cement conveying equipment, customer service and communication skills.

    What you will do:
    Under general supervision of the Regional Manager, manages cement terminal distribution facilities.

    Operations include loading and unloading cement from trucks and railcars to distribute to customers in the most efficient and cost effective manner.


    Main Objectives (not all inclusive):


    Foster the distribution of cement through good customer relations by planning and maintaining adequate inventories, responding quickly to customer orders and loading customers in a timely manner.

    Establish and maintain rapport with rail, truck, and personnel.

    Order rail cars and truck transport as needed, load/unload rail cars, maintain demurrage charges at a minimum and respond to the increase in volume by setting up new loading sites.

    Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment, grounds and buildings. Maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery used by the terminals in the distribution of cement.

    Maintain open communications with various personnel concerning customer and activities, with engineers and electricians regarding projects and with the order center concerning shipments and inventories.

    Unload cement from railcars, store and then load into trucks for distribution.

    Communicate with railroad, truck drivers, customers, order center, sales, and vendors to ensure cement is delivered on time and in the most cost effective manner.

    Will provide supervision to terminal employees, off site employees or seasonal employees hired. At times may be responsible for employees working on swing or graveyard shifts.
    Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
