    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, Clinical Counseling, or Social Work.
    • Possession of an active professional certification/license accepted by the state of Kentucky for counseling individuals with Substance Use Disorder, e.g., CADC, LCADC, LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in administrative and management roles, with knowledge of Performance Improvement and Standards.
    • Excellent communication skills to engage with management and counseling teams.
    • Self-driven with expertise in Continuous Quality Improvement/Performance Improvement and ability to steer organizational strategies.

    Roles and Responsibilities Overview

    • Provide direct patient services, including assessments, diagnosis, and necessary documentation for care placement determination.
    • Lead individual and group therapy sessions, adhering to guidelines like the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
    • Effectively advocate for service necessity and handle appeals with third-party payers.
    • Facilitate clear communication among staff members and collaborate with program administration.
    • Conduct professional development and trainings while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
    • Establish and manage a clinical organizational structure, ensuring smooth operation and compliance with policies.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions on the treatment environment.
