Job Title:
Teacher Assistant

Summary:

As a Teacher Assistant at [Daycare Name], you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

Your role will involve assisting in classroom activities, implementing curriculum plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care.

Requirements:
AAS Degree or Certificate in Child Care Field (Required)
Childcare experience in a licensed facility (Required)

Responsibilities:

Assist Lead Teacher:
Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities that align with the daycare's curriculum.

Engage Children:
Interact and engage with children in various educational and recreational activities, encouraging their development and participation.

Safety and Supervision:

Maintain a safe and secure environment by supervising children during playtime, meals, and outdoor activities, adhering to safety protocols.

Collaborate with Lead Teacher:
Work closely with the lead teacher to ensure a cohesive and organized classroom environment.

Record Keeping:
Assist in maintaining records of children's progress, behavior, and any necessary paperwork.

Support Daily Operations:
Help with daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and preparing materials for activities.

Skills and Abilities:

Childcare Expertise:
Demonstrated experience in providing care and support to young children in a licensed childcare facility.

Effective Communication:
Ability to communicate clearly and positively with children, parents, and other staff members.
