    Our client is a leading manufacturing company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their team and report into the Controller

    Salary/Hourly Rate:
    $90,000 - $115,000

    Position Overview:

    The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

    They will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls.

    The ideal Accounting Manager candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

    Responsibilities of the

    Accounting Manager:

    Financial Reporting:
    Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPBudgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasting to support strategic decision-making

    Internal Controls:
    Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

    Audit Management:
    Manage the annual external audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and liaising with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process

    Team Leadership:
    Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

    Financial Analysis:
    Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management

    Process Improvement:
    Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

    Ad Hoc Projects:
    Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior managementQualifications for the

    Accounting Manager:
    Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experienceThorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirementsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insightsExperience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrityProven leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams

    Education Requirements:
