    As a Sourcing Manager, this role is crucial to the procurement and supply chain operations at our company. The responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. This position will work in collaboration with various internal stakeholders, such as the Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams, to facilitate a seamless supply chain process and optimize costs within the Operations Team.

    Sourcing manager responsibilities

    1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet our procurement objectives.

    2. Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities, reliability, and quality standards.

    3. Develop and Maintain a Supplier Scorecard

    4. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.

    5. Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.

    6. Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs, specifications, and requirements.

    7. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.

    8. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, reliability, and mutual benefits.

    9. Lead supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.

    10. Regularly review and analyze sourcing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

    11. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact sourcing strategies.

    9. Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is a plus.

    10. Experience in the industry or sector relevant to the company's operations is preferred.
