- Must hold an Indiana Professional License or License from an NLC participating state.
- Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new medical record programs.
- American Heart Association CPR and BLS Certification essential.
- Previous experience in LTC required.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments;
- Provide attentive personal care to residents;
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols;
- Assist with onboarding new staff;
- Participate in resident care planning and assessments;
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and residents' sponsors;
- Maintain accurate documentation of medical records and care provided;
- Coordinate resident appointments and employee health testing.

Responsibilities:
Be part of the dedicated team at the Indiana Veterans' Home, providing comprehensive care in a 212-bed facility including long term care, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, and senior independent living. As an LPN, you will carry out nursing duties following Indiana's Nurse Practice Act with support from unit managers and RN shift supervisors. Additionally, you may oversee Nurse Aide 4's and 5's following set standards.
