    Job Summary:


    The Special Events Coordinator will report to the Director of Special Events and proactively plan and execute all non-game day events from contract signing to day of the event.

    This individual will also be responsible to assist in marketing and social media efforts to generate event leads and connect with the Quad Cities Community.

    Duties and Responsibilities-

    Collaborate with internal staff to ensure each event is executed efficiently and effectively.
    Communicate in a timely manner with internal and external clients via telephone, email,
    written documents or in person.

    Serve as the client contact throughout all stages of the event planning process including
    day of the event.

    Responsible for the planning and coordination of all contracted, non-game day events
    which include, but are not limited to: corporate events, group outings and weddings.

    Maintain a strong relationship with the catering and food and beverage team, to
    communicate the clients needs and wants and achieve the highest standard of client satisfaction.

    Create and organize all Banquet Event Orders (BEO) for each event.
    Lead weekly BEO meetings with internal staff.
    Monitor all social media platforms and showcase all special events held at Modern
    Woodmen Park.

    Assist the Director of Special Events with yearly analysis of comp-set surveys, market
    trends and sales goals.

    Other related duties as required.
    Education, Experience and Qualifications-

    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, Marketing or other related areas preferred.
    1-2 Years of event experience including internships if applicable.
    Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
    Must be able to handle multiple tasks, prioritize goals and stay organized
    Knowledge and/or willingness to learn new software systems; Allseated, Triple Seat,
    HubSpot etc.

    Identifies and solves issues in a timely manner
    Self motivated with strong time management skills
    Creative and outgoing personality
    Ability to work in a team setting
    Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
    Ability to work weekends

    $36, $38,000.00

    Expected hours: 40 per week (Based on events schedule)
