Clearance:
Active DoD Secret Clearance

Work Schedule:
Fulltime, onsite 5 days per week.

Role Overview:
The Cybersecurity Specialist III is a digital defender, safeguarding computer systems and data from unauthorized access, theft, or destruction.

You will work to prevent cyberattacks by implementing security measures, identifying weaknesses through testing, and responding to security incidents if they occur.

You may also train employees on best practices to avoid accidental breaches. This role directly supports the United States Marine Corps.
General Skillset

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
• Critical Thinking Skills
• Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed

Specific Skillset

• Identify and address vulnerabilities
• Implement security controls
• Monitor for threats
• Respond to security incidents
• Understanding of Intrusion Detection/Prevention (IDS/IPS)

Requirements
Education & Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• CompTIA Security

Experience Requirements

• 5 Years of cybersecurity experience
• Experience supporting the USMC is a plus
