Responsibilities
- Demonstrates safe work practices including LOTO hot work permits equipment operation Conduct preventive maintenance on turbines generators auxiliary systems as scheduled Demonstrates proficient ability to set up check bearings for proper operation Assist in diagnosing repairing mechanical problems ensuring compliance with operational standards Demonstrates proficient skills layout cutting welding Demonstrates proficient understanding hydraulic pneumatic systems Ability to use precision tools alignment calibration rotating equipment power transmission systems Maintain accurate records maintenance activities repairs inspections Support installation new machinery upgrades within power plant Participate safety training adhere safety standards during tasks Ability follow blueprints schematics Provide assistance major maintenance outages disassembly reassembly equipment Collaborate other trades electricians engineers facilitate efficient maintenance operations Demonstrates knowledge proper rigging lifting techniques Maintain material conveying systems manufacturer specifications company standards
