    : Job Summary:

    This individual contributor is primarily responsible for supporting candidate sourcing for open positions, conducting candidate screening and selection activities for specialized, difficult to fill, or management level positions, and conducting reporting of Company recruiting and hiring information.

    This position collaborates with hiring managers on recruiting activities, guides candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process, and implements talent acquisition strategies.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Completes work assignments by applying up-to-date expertise in subject area to generate creative solutions; ensuring all procedures and policies are followed; leveraging an understanding of data, and resources to support projects or initiatives; collaborating cross-functionally to solve business problems; identifying and monitoring priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; identifying, recommending, and implementing ways to address improvement opportunities; and escalating issues or risks as appropriate.
    • Supports candidate sourcing for open positions by establishing initial direct sourcing strategy and tactics (e.g., industries and companies to target) for assigned requisitions; engaging in planned initial search activities; fine tuning and continuing search activity based on results to draw passive candidates; reviewing applications and resumes received from postings; and capturing candidate flow statistics to improve future efforts.
    • Conducts candidate screening and selection activities for specialized, difficult to fill, or management level positions by determining applicant requirements; interviewing applicants; applying minimum and preferred qualifications requirements to categorize applicants and narrow the candidate pool; calling and pre-screening candidates to complete the qualification process; verifying references; and coordinating management interviews.
    • Conducts reporting of Company recruiting and hiring information by identifying and maintaining records; and completing and reviewing reports.
    • Collaborates with hiring managers on recruiting activities by conducting research and providing advice and assistance on employment related regulations both at the State and Federal level; researching, identifying, and analyzing recruiting concerns; providing advice regarding recruiting issues; coordinating problem resolution; creating internal audit reports; and reviewing the applicant tracking system to ensure requisitions are up-to-date.
    • Guides candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process by serving as the first POC with external candidates; providing information and answering questions regarding the organization and recruitment process; providing a high level of candidate engagement and selling candidates on the position, KP benefits, the organization, etc.; negotiating compensation; and generating initial offer agreements.
    • Implements talent acquisition strategies by developing sourcing plans to facilitate compliance with EEO goals; implementing action plans and goals; implementing process improvement plans related to recruitment systems, policies and processes, and performance; and meeting service level agreements.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Science, Public Administration or related field and Minimum two (2) years experience as a recruiter. Additional equivalent work experience in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Two (2) years recruitment experience sourcing, screening, and selection of candidates within the health insurance industry.
    • Two (2) years health care recruitment experience sourcing, screening, and selection of candidates for clinical positions.
