    Position Summary:

    Assists with planning and oversight for activities concerning development, application, and maintenance of quality standards.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Assists with developing and implementing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields, such as chemical, computer, electrical, or mechanical.
    • Devises sampling procedures, and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
    • Works on establishing a program to evaluate analytical testing, equipment, facilities, precision measurements, accuracy measurements, and performance testing.
    • Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
    • Compiles and writes training material and may conduct training sessions on quality control activities.

    Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

    • Engineering knowledge
    • Mechanical manufacturing methods, procedures and quality
    • Time management and prioritization abilities
    • Basic programming logic and Microsoft Office

    Position Qualifications:

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering or a related field.

    Experience:

    1+ years of experience in a production environment

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

    Manufacturing Environment

    May lift up to 50 lbs.

    Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time.

    Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.
