    Job Description Job DescriptionTechnical Knowledge and Skills:The Senior Oracle Database Administrator shallpossess 8-10+ years technical knowledge and experience with most of thefollowing systems, platforms, applications skills:Hand-on experience in database administration withOracle including monitoring, capacity planning, load balancing, performancetuning, high availability and multi-sites Disaster Recovery deployment oncomplex database environments; Oracle 11G/12C, RAC, RMAN and ASM implementationexperience is desired.

    Extensive knowledge with complex SQL and PL/SQLprogramming and optimization.
    Proficiency with UNIX(HP-UX), Linux and VMware vSphere.
    Experience as an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)


    DBA.Experience in database schema design includinglogical and physical database schemas design for large scale, highly availableand mission critical application systems.

    Experience designing and supporting the databasecomponents of software applications, and understanding of entire applicationdevelopment life cycle.
    Experience with Javaor .NET entity framework and ORM is plus.
    Good writing skillsto provide documentation for DBA and other teams.
    Experience in datamodeling tools such as Erwin.
    Below are the top 3-5must haves for this role:

    Supportthe Oracle non-production and production databases administration as needed,including daily operations, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and afterhours on-call support.

    Providedatabase administration support to the entire system development lifecycle ofall IT projects, including review/approval of database schema changes, storedprocedures, SQLs/PL/SQL and other database related objects.

    Establish database designconventions in best practice, and assure that design conventions and standardsare in compliant and documented fully.
    Provideadvice/recommendations on database architecture, design and implementation.

    Providetraining, documentation for knowledge transfer to other database team members,and communicate both to non-technical users and to technical personnel onDatabase team and Applications teams.
