Heavy Truck Diesel MechanicWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic company committed to safety, quality, and professional growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety on the road.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty diesel trucks
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems and improve repair processes
Order and manage parts inventory to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime
Skills And Qualifications
Proven experience as a Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic or similar role
Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
Ability to use diagnostic tools and computerized testing equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license and relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards
