Job summary
Prepares and serves food using proper food handling and food safety techniques for patients employees and special events resulting in foods that taste good are served at the proper temperature and in an attractive manner in accordance with established standards Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards Coordinates assists in the overall functions of the Food Service department Works with Registered Dietitian to ensure provision of adequate nutrition services for quality patient care Coordinates with Director to ensure the daily operations of the dietary department are carried out Prepares seasons cooks' food for facility patients employees visitors visitors and special functions
