    Position Specific Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled data analytics and quality manager to join our Internal Audit team. This role will focus on leveraging data analytics for our audits, consultations, and investigations. Successful candidates should have strong data analytics, project management, process improvement, and communication skills. Candidates should have at least a Six Sigma green belt but a black belt is preferred.

    Position Specific Responsibilities include:

    • Develop and implement effective data analytics strategies and procedures for the internal audit function.
    • Plan and execute data-driven assurance and advisory projects to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, identify risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze large data sets, conduct automated testing, and identify trends, anomalies, and potential control weaknesses.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness in all internal audit-related activities.
    • Identify, evaluate, and monitor emerging technologies, tools, and trends in data analytics to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal audit function.
    • Lead and mentor a team of data analytics professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
    • Provide training to the internal audit department to continuously improve the team's data literacy.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and evolving internal audit standards to continuously enhance the data analytics and quality function.
    • Prepare clear and concise audit reports, presenting findings, recommendations, and action plans to management and senior leadership.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business objectives, risks, and opportunities related to data analytics and quality within the organization.
    • Mentor internal audit department team members who are working on Six Sigma certifications.

The individual will be responsible for integrating a myriad of data sources in an effort to create information assets vital to operations and critical to enabling more predictive, proactive, and strategic decision-making. This position is responsible for understanding and anticipating the business needs and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience: 8+ years
    • Supervisor/Management Experience: 3+ years

    • Master's Degree
