    Revised Date: 03/2024Summary Conduct design work for new and existing company products. Responsible for the accuracy and utility of all drawings. Serve as a technical knowledge resource to the company.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all necessary tasks associated with development of new products Participate in product definition meetings for design goalsLead design effort and oversee designersPerform all required calculations to support designManage scheduleCreate and present required design information to all partiesProvide advanced technical support as necessary to Manufacturing, Applications, Estimating, Engineering, Project Management, R&D, and Field ServiceWork with Product Management as directed on product optimizationSupport daily work within the Engineering Department Oversee Designers and Engineering AssistantsReview and approve drawings, datasheets, O&M materials, etcReview and approve site-specific deviations from Standard ProductsCreate and update Engineering Manualsknowledge, skills and abilities Must be computer literate and be knowledgeable of File Management, AutoDesk, and MS Office software.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Project-based oversight of Designers and Engineering AssistantsWORK ENVIRONMENT Usual office working conditions with moderate noise such as computers and printers, telephones and copy machines.

    A Bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial engineering. Experience in the design of water/wastewater equipment preferred. Broad knowledge of manufacturing technology, welding, stress analysis, automatic controls, pumps, valves, etc.#J-18808-Ljbffr
