    Job Overview:
    This is a Clinical Pharmacist role based within the Pharmacy for Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Located in Livingston, NJ, come join one of the best hospitals in New Jersey


    Qualifications:


    Required:

    • Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure required
    • Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD

    Preferred:

    • Hospital pharmacy experience desirable
    Certifications and Licenses

    Required:

    • Licensed NJ Pharmacist
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

    Scheduling Requirements:

    • Days, 37.5 hours/week
    • 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 10am-6pm, and 1 evening shift per week
    • Full - Time Schedule

    Essential Functions:

    • The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients
    • They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures
    • They exercise considerable independent decision making
