- Perform patient assessments, planning, implementation, education of patient cardiovascular disease, risk modifications and outcome evaluations.
- Manage Cardiac Rehabilitation Information, i.e. order verification, insurance verification coverage, patient scheduling, billing and charge auditing.
- Demonstrates knowledge of exercise modalities for Cardiac Rehab patients
- Facilitates education classes and physical exercise sessions in a safe environment.
- Ensures safety of patients during monitored exercise sessions through health assessment, medication compliance verification, ECG interpretation and management and transfer to higher level of care as deemed necessary.
- Graduate of an accredited or other recognized nursing program
- 2 years ofcritical carenursing experience required.
- Cardiac rehab nursing experience preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio
- BLS certified.
- ACLS certified.
