- Dozer Operation: Operate bulldozers to move materials, earth, and heavy objects according to project requirements.
- Safety and Quality: Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain dozers and perform basic repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Communication and Collaboration: Regularly communicate with crew members and subcontractors to coordinate work schedules and ensure project completion within budget and timeline constraints.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to facilitate effective project execution.
- Training: Provide on-the-job training to new operators as needed to support team development.
- Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support the successful completion of construction projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience operating bulldozers in a construction setting.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
