- Maintaining records, including: invoices, debits, and credit memos
- Performing credit checks on potential customers
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances on vendor statements; issuing credit memos for discrepancies
- Updating receivables by totaling unpaid invoices
- Reaching out and issuing statements to customers
- Handling any mailings, filing, and data entry needs for the Finance department on a regular basis
- Assisting with other tasks and projects as determined by the Finance Manager

- You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar administrative role; you have intermediate experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and QuickBooks.
- You possess exceptional customer service skills and understand how to support both internal and external customers by focusing on quick response rate and problem resolution.
- You enjoy taking ownership; for you, there's no such thing as "it's not my job." You take pride in, and accountability for, results. No problem is too big, too small, or too outside of your scope to jump in and help.
- You are enthusiastic about working with farmers in the local, organic food industry; you're committed to the co-op's mission and the larger impact we wish to have in preserving farms.
- You are naturally detail oriented and comfortable with numbers; you understand the importance of accuracy and you can work methodically through step-by-step processes to ensure nothing is missed.

Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative is a nonprofit organic farmer's cooperative of over 100-member farmers in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. We focus on creating healthy high-quality foods from our highly maintained and enriched soils on our small-scale family farms. LFFC serves all Eastern Pennsylvania, New York City, and most of the tri state area by connecting the farmer and customer, delivering the best local organic produce, value added products, and humanely raised and pastured animal products to retail establishments, co-ops, restaurants, and institutions.
