Job summary
The Central Park Conservancy is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the construction execution of multiple projects within Central Park. The role oversees all phases of construction delivery, from preconstruction planning through project completion, and ensures seamless coordination among critical stakeholders.Responsibilities
- Review and provide feedback to the design team on construction documents based on constructability, cost, schedule, and logistics.
- Coordinate and execute any necessary pre-construction field investigations, such as design probes and environmental testing.
- Identify qualified bidders and prepare Request for Proposal documentation,
- Manage contractor procurement process including site visits,bid coordination,and leveling of received bids.Provide justificationsand award recommendations to department leadership for contract execution.
