About the Position

Sierra7 is seeking a part-time Outpatient Medical Coding Auditor to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. This role requires 20 hours per week commitment from Monday through Sunday weekly.

• The successful applicant will apply comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, disease processes, treatment modalities, diagnostic tests, medications and procedures for proper code selection;

• Coding system reviews to ensure accuracy in assigned codes from current versions of International Classification of Diseases (ICD), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) as well as applicable VERA guidelines;
