- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree
- Experience in engineering and project management preferred
- Proficiency with FEA software, Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work both in an office environment and in the field
- Comfortable working at heights
- Design and analyze below-the-hook lift devices
- Quote job opportunities in coordination with sales team
- Manage projects from conception through completion
- Supervise subcontractors and technicians for project fulfillment
- Plan and prepare material orders and ensure timely delivery
- Ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets while satisfying customer needs
- Collect field data, perform laser surveys, create 3D models, generate 2D prints
- Provide install supervision, procurement coordination, and manage customer relationships throughout project lifecycle
- Follow safety policies of Simmers Crane Design & Service, customer standards, and OSHA regulations
- Document processes as per customer requirements
- Handle multiple concurrent projects
- Must pass a drug screen and background check prior to hire.
