- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
- Associate degree in medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and/or successful completion of a recognized course of study in Clinical Laboratory Technology.
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse
- Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) and ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) Certification Maintenance (CM), if applicable.
- Clinical experience preferred.
- One year lab experience preferred.

Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.Responsibilities include: obtain and processes blood and urine samples, performs CLIA-waived testing in designated area, performs and reviews quality control procedures, uses the clinic information system and the laboratory information system in an appropriate manner, stocks and maintains supplies in work area.
