About the Unit

The Lakeland Sleep Disorder and Treatment Centers in Niles and St. Joseph are designed to combine the latest treatments with a home-like atmosphere. Patients sleep in rooms that feature queen-sized beds, cable televisions, and private, accessible bathrooms in an environment that controls sound and light. Our sleep centers are accredited with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and each of our sleep lab technologists are registered with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.

About Lakeland Hospitals

The health system comprises three hospitals, an outpatient surgery center, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.

Scope of Work Provides physicians and patients with support needed to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders and the promotion of good sleep.Performs diagnostic sleep testing, including but not limited to order interpretation, medication administration, patient hook-up and monitoring, BLS responsibility, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) initiation and titration, oxygen administration, and other related duties.
