ROLE OBJECTIVE:

Production engineering interns will assist Production Support Team in developing processes and procedures while becoming familiar with Bird production practices.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS/SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Functions

The primary responsibilities of production support interns are to develop test procedures and work instructions, with instruction and guidance from a member of the Production Support Team.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Creation of Test Procedures

2. Creation of Manufacturing Instructions

3. Data collection and presentation

4. Process verification

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES (Applicant must meet all to be considered):

1. Enrolled in a technically oriented BS program.
2. Basic understanding of software programming and databases.
3. Must be US citizen.

DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES (Applicants may be considered even if they do not possess any or all of these):

1. Use of hand tools, such as torque wrenches, calipers, and other precision tools.
2. Use of microscope
