Description

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.As an advanced software engineer for Submarine Combat Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for delivering advanced mission capabilities to the US and Australian submarine forces.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: software development (C++/Java), Kubernetes, Linux w/ Command Line, Ansible.

Ability to lead the software development process
Superior Red Hat/CentOS Linux skills
Extenisve experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration/PaaS/Cloud technologies
Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements

Certifications:
one or more of Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Admin (CKA), and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
